HEAL Fellowship: An LGBTQ+ Health Equity & Advocacy Leadership Program

LGBTQ+ Health Equity & Advocacy Leadership (HEAL) Fellowship

GLMA's LGBTQ+ Health Equity & Advocacy Leadership (HEAL) Fellowship is a transformative two-year program empowering early-career LGBTQ+ and BIPOC health professionals to lead systemic change in healthcare policy and practice. Through structured training, mentorship, and real-world leadership placements, fellows gain the skills and networks to influence health systems and improve care for LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities.

The HEAL Fellowship addresses the critical underrepresentation of LGBTQ+ and BIPOC leaders in healthcare. By investing in emerging professionals, the program builds a pipeline of equity-focused professionals prepared to advance inclusive policies and transform health systems from within health organizations and decision-making bodies.

GLMA's LGBTQ+ Health Equity & Advocacy Leadership (HEAL) Fellowship's inaugural cohort has officially launched!

GLMA is proud to welcome the first cohort of LGBTQ+ Health Equity and Advocacy Leadership Fellows as they begin their two year journey. Over the course of the program, fellows will receive leadership training, mentorship, and support to advance health equity for LGBTQ+ communities.

This milestone strengthens the future of LGBTQ+ health leadership.
