We are excited you are thinking of attending the 36th GLMA Annual Conference - the premier, interdisciplinary LGBTQ health conference and the world’s largest scientific gathering devoted to LGBTQ health. GLMA’s Annual Conference educates practitioners, policy advocates, educators, administrators, researchers and students—from across the health professions—about the unique health needs of LGBTQ individuals and families. The conference is a forum for discussion and exploration of how best to address these needs as well as the needs of LGBTQ health professionals and health profession students. GLMA’s Annual Conference also reports on research into the health needs of LGBTQ people. Complete your GLMA Annual Conference experience with other Annual Conference offerings: - GLMA is accredited to issue CME and CE from the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education and the California Board of Nursing, respectively. GLMA will apply for CME credit through the American Association of Family Physicians and for CE credit through the National Association of Social Workers.
- The goal of the GLMA Nursing Summit is to build an inclusive home that promotes capacity building for LGBTQ nurses, nurse allies and nurse supporters. For more information on the GLMA Nursing Summit please click here.
- Each year, GLMA honors exemplary individuals and/or organizations for their significant contributions to improving the health and well-being of LGBTQ individuals or people living with HIV/AIDS, improving the climate for the LGBTQ health workforce, or contributing to gains made by the LGBTQ civil rights movement during the GLMA Achievement Awards Gala.
