GLMA applauds yesterday’s federal court ruling reversing President Trump’s directive that prohibited transgender people from serving in the military and congratulates the National Center for Lesbian Rights  and GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders for their victory in this case. GLMA is also proud to have joined an amicus brief in this case, along with other leading health professional associations, in favor of restoring policy allowing transgender military members to openly serve.
