GLMA mourns the recent passing of two former GLMA staff and shares our condolences with their loved ones. Patricia “Pat” Dunn passed away in November. In addition to her large catalogue of other accomplishments, Pat’s seminal work on Healthy People 2010: Companion Document for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Health stands out. The Companion Document was published by GLMA in 2001 when Pat served as Director of Policy and Programs. Read more about Pat Dunn’s life here. Grace Flannery passed away in October. According to a 1997 article published in The Bay Area Reporter, as director of the Lesbian Health Fund, Grace was GLMA’s first full-time national advocate. Read more about Grace Flannery’s life here.
