GLMA is the professional home for LGBTQ and ally nurses, advanced practice nurses and nursing students as well as a number of other disciplines.
GLMA is proud to work closely and forge strong relationships with the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care (ANAC), the American Academy of Nursing and Nursing Students for Choice (NSFC), among many other nursing organizations to advocate for LGBTQ providers and LGBT healthcare.
In 2014, GLMA established the GLMA Nursing Section to provide a professional home for LGBTQ nurses and fill a critical need in the professional association landscape by providing a focal point for advocacy on LGBTQ nursing issues. Click here to learn more and join the Section.
